Our IDEAS CROSSING presents the concept of energetic infinite creativity, combining student’s ideas with traditional and experimental methods for innovative solutions.

The display shows the feeling of northern winter crossed with warm interior textiles. We present works and samples of textures and patterns derived from interesting experiments with traditional techniques and the use of modern technology. There are students‘ designs for weaved, knitted and printed textiles, but also elements made through re-use and through experiments with other media.

Our exposition in CAMPUS informs about the Textile Design Department of Estonian Academy of Arts. And hopefully inspires both the professionals and the public in general. We are searching for new opportunities for collaboration with schools, companies and design studios for further work or practice.   http://www.artun.ee/
